Open Sunday Afternoon Talk at Black Box Teater Foyer, Oslo.
We invite the fields of dance, performance, choreography, theatre, visual art, philosophy, literature and poetry and all possible mixes of these to an afternoon of listening, thinking and talking around the subject of “Text and Choreography”.
The event is happening in connection to a weeklong research with and by the artists Ingrid Berger Myhre, Bastien Mignot, Julie Gouju, Solveig Styve Holte, Ann-Christin Berg Kongsness and Marte Reithaug Sterud.
As our special guests this afternoon we have invited Federica Bueti, Bojana Cvejic and Runa Borch Skolseg to join us and share from their practices and research.
Ingrid Berger Myhre, Bastien Mignot and Julie Gouju met as classmates at Centre Chorégraphique National de Montpellier where our trio soon functioned as a close infrastructure framing our individual and collective research in the two year long MA program. We share both performance and writing practices, and developed based on these a self declared learning environment inside of the institutional context where we were initiated.
Ann-Christin Berg Kongsness, Solveig Styve Holte and Marte Reithaug Sterud have been working together in different contexts since 2011, amongst them the web journal framtidsdans.no which Kongsness initiated in 2012. framtidsdans.no functions as a platform for sharing writing as a choreographic practice and reflections connected to dance, choreography, work, context and infrastructure. After engaging in our national context and working with the web format for some years we now orient our work more towards publications and public events.
