Døde Menn og Tørste Kvinner means Dead Men and Thirsty Women. In this performance we follow a character named The Model. The Model is a model, but also a model for human life in today's world. A life wandering from a hyper-individualism towards a new collectivism?

In a Western late-capitalist, counter-attacking right-wing society, a time of transition where young men are once again required to go to war to die.

And we who thought feminism had come so far...

The middle-aged Model does not find her place in Norway, she has not yet achieved her dream of a career as an iconic Model.

She travels to Paris to try her luck as a model one last time. Eventually she moves into an old morgue at the Père-Lachaise Cemetery, simply because she has no other mental or financial resources left. At the cemetery she makes new friends who are ghosts of dead men. She also meets a young "exchange student", who also has encountered a somewhat harsh reality in life.

War breaks out in the world and new borders are drawn, new states of emergency are implemented.

The Model and the Exchange Student are confronted with having to choose life anew in new forms.
