We live at the end of time. A virus has paralyzed our entire society, dinosaurs roam the streets, a giant wave sweeps in from the ocean, the dead has risen and a hitherto unknown planet is heading straight for our home.
In Oslo, people live isolated in their apartments. Their only way to reach out and connect with you is through digital means. Take part in their terrifying testimonies, brought to you live, from various horrible moments of desolation.
Will you be the voice who unveils those who are responsible for this? Will you be the mother who supports her husband at the moment when he reaches for his rifle again? Will you be the father who answers his call of duty to the nation? Will you make the ultimate sacrifice?
Kampen Katastrofefilm looks at the narrative of COVID-19 by using familiar structures from the disaster movie genre. In this project Uhlbors is exploring archetypical disaster narratives within western popular culture by placing them directly in the homes of the ensemble.
Join for an interactive online performance where the qualities of theater are fused with the technologies of progress, bringing us all to the point of destruction in fiction as well as real life.
