Mohamed Abdi is a teacher, writer, and critic. Abdi has been a columnist for Klassekampen, Morgenbladet, and Dagsavisen. He has co-authored the anthologies Islamsk Humanisme (2016), Kjære bror (2018), and Ways of Seeing (2022). In addition, he has published texts addressing racism, integration, freedom of speech, gender equality, and religion in publications such as Samora, Vinduet, and Morgenbladet.

In 2021, he curated the exhibition Give Me a Name at the Munch Museum, which examined attitudes toward ethnic minorities in Munch’s time and drew parallels to contemporary everyday racism and discrimination against ethnic minorities. Abdi is a board member of Balansekunst and MiA (Museums in Akershus).
