Kaeto Sweeney – (Art to wear) t-skjorte
A special (art to wear) shirt made for Oslo Internasjonale Teaterfestival 2021 by Karmaklubb* collaborator Kaeto Sweeney!
Kaeto Sweeney aka Captain aka Guru-K: Kaeto’s work shapes itself around the different ways stories are told and received, stories that belong simultaneously to personal and societal perspectives. He practices this interest within performance, film, and installation as part of an ongoing project called I seem to live. By using projectors and green screens as both technological and poetic devices, he questions beginnings/endings.
ASTERISK is a Bergen based queer club night and platform celebrating our talented local and international queer artists and performers. Due to COVID-19, the first ASTERISK edition never happened, and is postponed into a timeless frame. It is a struggle to foresee plans for space, time and bodies. All of these makings of a party are regulated in this time. The essence of being together and community is at risk. This limited-edition T-Shirt features the original poster design for the first edition of ASTERISK: Exotic, based on a re-interpretation of the film poster of ↗︎ Attack of the 50 Foot Woman (1958). The poster is still the dream. We will be free to make out on the dance floor again. Only this next time around, MORE*. See you soon x. *ASTERISK believes the night time to be as political as the day time, if not so MORE. As queers, we need more than just room inside of rooms. Thank you to Karmaklubb*, aka Guru-T, who has been like a drag mother to ASTERISK.”
Quote founder of ASTERISK Kaeto Sweeney aka DJ Fantôme aka Captain aka Guru-K:
